The Tech Benefit is a salary sacrifice benefit that enables employees to save 8% on the cost of electronics, white goods and mobile phones, whilst spreading the cost over 12 months.
Employees give up part of their salary in return for a tech product. As the employer, you pay for it upfront and deduct the cost over 12 months from their gross pay. This is exactly how the cycle-to-work scheme works, (credit options are available if you don’t want to pay upfront).
